Wayno's SQUARESVILLE exhibit
at
Zombo Gallery's Grand Opening
Takes Pittsburgh by Storm

Pittsburgh's newest art space, Zombo Gallery, opened to an enthusiastic crowd of more than 300 art lovers on July 13, 2007.

The opening exhibit was Squaresville, a collection of pop art paintings by Wayno, using the artist's own illustration archive as source material.

The paintings in the exhibit were all executed on identical twelve-inch square panels, calling to mind an imaginary collection of LP covers. Most of the paintings sold on opening night, with the closing party wrapping up on August 10, 2007.

To commemorate the successful run of Squaresville, Wayno has created a limited edition commemorative giclée print featuring the show's signature image, a portrait of legendary actor and tough guy Robert Mitchum. This 16" x 20" fine art print is made with archival inks on museum quality rag paper, and is issued in an individually signed and numbered edition of 25 prints.
